Takeover edges nearer

The company, called 10000Hours, is looking to use money from funding agencies to reach the target. It will then use the club as a focal point for the community with fans, companies and organisations paying an annual membership fee to help pay off the debts.

Until yesterday, 10000Hours had been waiting on two funding panels meeting to give the green light to the final two cash packages required. One of these has now met and agreed to the grant, meaning two thirds of the required money is in place.

Now all they are waiting for is the other funding body to agree to stump up the grant and they can complete the deal.
