BUDDIES TOP STORY:
Speculation that Andy Dorman could be set to leave Love Street in the summer will no doubt increase with the news that Bolton Wanderers are interested in securing his services.
OTHER CLUB HEADLINES:
Another dull day at Love Street, the only difference between this game and the last couple being that we didn't snatch a late winner. Instead, we looked disinterested while the Gretna players looked far more up for what could be one of their club's final games.
Gretna travel to Love Street tomorrw for what should be the final boring home game before the summer. After late winners in the last two matches that fit that description, this is a fantastic chance to make it three SPL wins in a row for the first time ever.
Tom Brighton has this afternoon signed a two year deal with Saints. The former Clyde forward is available after being told by Millwall they would be releasing him at the end of the season. Meanwhile, the club have confirmed that Ian Maxwell and Richard Brittain will both be leaving.
The current season hasn't even finished yet, but Saints have already fixed up a friendly as part of their preparations for the 2008/09 campaign. Unsurprisingly, we've arranged a game against Stirling Albion.
The latest reports from Love Street suggest that both Ian Maxwell and Richard Brittain have been released after failing to land new deals. It also seems that former Chelsea midfielder Craig Rocastle will soon be having a trial spell with the club.
David van Zanten has ended his five year spell at Saints by agreeing a pre-contract agreement with Hibs. Vanzy was always set to leave Love Street in the summer after knocking back a new deal six months ago.
Saints left it late to win one of the most boring games of football at Love Street for some time. Will Haining's goal in the final minute gave the Buddies all three points and effectively wrapped up tenth place.
After last week's dull game against Falkirk, we could be set for another one at Love Street tomorrow when Kilmarnock come to town. Free flowing football, flair and big name players are just some of the things that are unlikely to be on display.
The signing of Jack Ross from Falkirk has been confirmed by Saints boss Gus MacPherson, who has also revealed the club are trying to lure Inverness Caley Thistle's Dennis Wyness to Love Street.
