BUDDIES TOP STORY:
Franco Miranda will not be coming back to Saints for a third season. The club could not agree a deal with the Argentinian leftback, who was looking for a massive increase in his wages.
OTHER CLUB HEADLINES:
Atteampts to lure Motherwell's Brian McLean to St. Mirren Park have failed after he chose to sign for SPL rivals Falkirk. The defender was out of contract at Fir Park and was rumoured to be close to joining Saints before deciding to go elsewhere.
Former Saints' youngster Sean Crighton has signed for Montrose. The defender spent half of last season on loan with the Links Park side and has signed a two year deal with the third division club.
Dunfermline Athletic goalkeeper Paul Gallacher became Saints' third signing of the summer this morning. The keeper joins Lee Mair and Michael Higdon in signing a two year deal at St. Mirren Park.
Mo Camara will be a St. Mirren player next season. The much maligned leftback has invoked a clause in his contract that means he will be staying at the club for another 12 months.
Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bryan Hodge looks set to join the Saints squad when pre-season training gets underway. The 21-year-old was due to sign for Hibs but the deal has fallen through after the Edinburgh club changed manager.
Eight players out, but just two players in. With the start of July and the end of contracts just a few days away, Mirren Mad takes a look at where the current Saints squad needs some improvement.
The contract situation at St. Mirren Park is just about complete with the news that Craig Dargo has signed a new two year deal while Gary Mason has been released. The only players left to sort out are leftbacks Mo Camara and Franco Miranda.
