BUDDIES TOP STORY:
Andy Dorman passed up a couple of decent chances as Saints played out a goalless draw with in-form Motherwell in Paisley this evening. It could be a handy point, but the result means we still haven't won since mid January.
OTHER CLUB HEADLINES:
When you haven't won a league game in two months, the last thing you want is a game against a team that hasn't suffered a defeat in the SPL since the end of last year. Sadly, that's what we're up against tomorrow.
Last time Dougie McDonald was in charge of one of our games, we lost 2-0 to Motherwell. Will history repeat itself when he officiates a game against the same opposition at St. Mirren Park on Tuesday night?
For two glorious minutes Saints were in pole position for a famous victory at Ibrox. Then we failed to hold onto our lead, the champions resumed normal service and we ended up with nothing once again.
The youngsters don't seem to be able to stop scoring or winning at the moment as they romped to victory against Kilmarnock this afternoon. Shame the first team can't do the same!
Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to head to Ibrox tomorrow afternoon and try to take something off of a rampant Rangers side. Anyone got the number of Tom Cruise?
After taking four points from two trips to Fife, we welcomed one of the kingdom's teams to Love Street. The game against Dunfermline was a chance to all but finish off their title chances - but we blew it.
It's pretty much mission impossible for us on Saturday as we take on Rangers at Ibrox, but the appointment of Charlie Richmond as match referee provides some hope as we've pulled off some shock results with him in charge in the past.
