Post-split fixtures announced

Last updated : 03 April 2012 By Stuart Gillespie

For some reason we nearly always seem to start our season away and pretty much always finish at home, the 2000/01 disaster being the only exception to the latter rule. This season we once again started away - against Dunfermline - but will also finish away at Pittodrie on Saturday, May 12.

The post-split games start at home against Dunfermline on April 21. Regardless of what happens this weekend a win in that game would make us officially safe and a point as good as. Eight days later we face Hibs on a Sunday TV game just after the Old Firm clash (thankfully we don't have Jamie McCluskey to embarrass the club with his dressing room antics this time).

Wednesday, May 2 - the day before the EGM - sees us away to Kilmarnock before our final home game against Inveress Caley Thistle the following Saturday, the trip to Pittodrie coming a week later.

For once it should be a relatively stress free end to the season - let's hope that's how it pans out.
