McDonald - who has also played for Kilmarnock, Oldham and Hamilton, was only linked with the Buddies a few days ago. However, manager Danny Lennon has revealed he feels we're well covered in the centre of midfield, so won't be making a move.
The story about McAllister goes back slightly longer, but the striker - who has been banging in goals for fun in recent years - has apparently turned down an offer from the club. He is still being linked with St Johnstone, Aberdeen and clubs down south and is set to announce his future tomorrow. Despite being made an attractive offer by Peterhead (no, I don't understand that one either), he fancies a move up to full time football.
