News Round Up

Saints are currently going through a major injury crisis. Mark Yardley, Jamie McGowan and Greig Denham are out for the long term, whilst Hugh Murray is also injured. The defence is looking a mess, with only Kirk Broadfoot fully fit for today's game. Ricky Robb, Paul Rudden and Andy Dow are not fully fit, so it should be interesting! Some players also got injured in a bounce game with Hibs, which Saints lost 5-0.

Last week former Saint Barry Lavety was part of the history making Team Bath side. Team Bath are Bath University's team, and beat Horsham last week on penalties to become the first University side for over 100 years to qualify for the FA Cup proper. Well done Basher, and he'll be on Sky Sports with Team Bath playing Mansfield in the first round, at Team Bath's home ground.

The AGM will be held on the 1st December, slightly later than normal this year. The accounts appear to show a small profit (though I don't fully understand them) but the debt is around the same. The club also appear no closer to a new manager than before, but it looks likely John Coughlin will get it permanently. I don't think the court case with Tom Hendrie has started yet, once it has I'll try and let you know.

We also lost 4-1 to Caley THistle last week but I'm trying to keep that quiet :-)
