New Signing To Be Announced

Saints chairman Stewart Gilmour refused to name the player, but The Official Site news does say they believe it is a central defender. However, it has been hinted at on the forum that it is Mark Campbell, which fits in with rumours Mirren Mad talked about last week. Campbell is also attracting interest from Plymouth Argyle and Grimsby Town.

The dinner also saw the unveiling of the new strips. The home shirt is black and white stripes 9amazingly) with a patch across the middle with the sponsor's logo. The away strip is all black with bits of yellow (or gold as it will probably be called) on it. To see them, click here.

The player of the year awards were also announced. Ricky Gillies took the Saints Player of the Year award, whilst Simon Lappin took the LDV Player of the Year prize. Kirk Broadfoot was named the young player of the year.
