New Signing On The Way

The story is on from ITV Teletext and Saints chairman Stewart Gilmour said "We've been negotiating a pre-contract agreement with a player presently at another club and we will reveal all on Monday morning. He's a well sought after player and it will be a real surprise to people when they see the calibre of player we are attracting. This guy has bags of desire and we think he’ll be a good acquisition."

Sadly, Mirren Mad will be unable to bring you the news until next Sunday as I'm on holiday until then. I have no idea who the player is as the bit about sought after and of a high calibre is a real surprise! I would assume, however, with it being high calibre it is not the person Saints boss John Coughlin was tlaking about in the Evening Times.

The last time Saints tried to keep a signing under wraps Scotland Today kindly told us who it was. Lets see if they do the same tonight :-)
