The former Bolton man has been capped for the Aussies at under-20 level, but has yet to win his first senior cap. However, despite only featuring a few times for Saints since signing in October, he has moved a step closer to achieving that goal by being named in the provisional squad.
Mind you, the list contains 50 players and needs to be whittled down to less than half that, so it's not a given he'll be selected. If he does go, it's likely we'll have to make do without his services for most of January.
