McQuade could sign this week

Media reports today suggest Lennon is looking to sign the 23-year-old in the next few days. He's scored 25 goals in the last two seasons, which is a decent record, but it's a huge step up from the second division to the SPL.

McQuade will probably be a reasonably cheap signing and would be seen as a replacement for Rory Loy or Dennis Wyness, rather than Billy Mehmet.

If McQuade does sign, he'll be the fourth person to swap Central Park for Greenhill Road in the last fortnight, following in the footsteps of Lennon, Iain Jenkins and Darren McGregor.
