Jenkins arrived at Saints with Danny Lennon last year but left towards the end of pre-season for personal reasons. It was all a bit mysterious, with even rumours of a bust-up, and the fact he might get another football job so soon doesn't exactly clear things up.
Peterhead spent big in the summer, signing the much wanted Rory McAllister from Brechin, but decided to bin Sheran after being knocked out of both cups and losing all but one of their league games under him.
