Gow deal unlikely

Last updated : 23 August 2010 By Stuart Gillespie

Buddies boss Danny Lennon made public his interest in Gow a couple of days ago and it is believed he witnessed yesterday's defeat to Celtic at Parkhead. Lennon believed he had had positive talks with Gow and reckoned he could make him his final signing of the summer, but it now seems other clubs want him too.

While there is probably little to choose between Saints and Hamilton, Motherwell will be able to offer more money and are currently competing in the Europa League. If they want him, that's where he'll probably end up, which would be a shame but hardly the end of the world.
