The snow that arrived had been forecast for some time and duly reached Paisley in the middle of the night. The pitch was clear just before 8am, but as the snow was falling a call soon went out to clear the snow from the pitch. With that done, the referee was called and he decided the surface was playable.
The snow is still falling in Paisley, but with less than 90 minutes to go to kick-off it would need to be pretty heavy for the game to be called off at this late stage.
