Dargo has been out of action since he scored the winner against Hibs at the end of August after picking up some weird injury when the ball bounced off of his toe in training! His three previous seasons with the club have been plagued by injury and it's no surprise to see him suffer a similar fate this year. However, if he can get back fit again he is a real asset to the side and he could be in contention for a place on the bench against Morton on Saturday.
Saints fielded a relatively inexperienced team that was mainly under-19s. The only exceptions were Dargo, Steven Robb, Steven Thomson, David Barron and Aaron Mooy. Robb, Thomson and Barron are also returning from injury, while Mooy is in need of some match fitness.
