Brady, Bradley and McLennan leave

Last updated : 30 April 2011 By Stuart Gillespie

It's no real surprise that Brady is leaving. After he was given a new deal last summer, he has barely played since the opening weeks of the season. That is partly down to injury problems and partly down to a lack of fitness. He is a talented player, but his fitness during his five years at the club has been atrocious.

Brady was our first signing when we were promoted back in 2006 and did reasonably well in his first season with us, although he's been hit or miss since then.

The departure of the two youngsters is a bit of a shock. Danny Lennon signed Bradley from Cowdenbeath in the summer and said he was a star of the future, yet he is on his way without kicking a ball for the first team. McLennan was released by the previous management but brought back in the summer and described as a talent - so why he's leaving is also a bit odd.
