Name: Paul Gallacher
Current Club: Dunfermline Athletic
Saints Career: Paul signed from Dunfermline in 2009 due to injuries to Mark Howard and Chris Smith. It was a good move as the former Scotland and Dundee United keeper put in a string of good performances as the club reached the League Cup Final and stayed in the SPL. Form dipped a bit the following season and he also suffered an injury. Seemed reluctant to come off his line and was blamed a bit for the number of late goals we lost. On his day a good, solid keeper and I for one was disappointed when he left.
Post Saints Career: Despite having the offer of a new contract on the table, Paul decided to opt for a return to Dunfermline in 2011. He started the season in good form - saving a Saints penalty on his debut - but suffered a shoulder injury just before Christmas that ruled him out for the season.
