Saints Career: The former Livingston youngster arrived on loan from Burnley in August 2011. However, he made just two sub appearances during his six month time in Paisley amid strong rumours Burnley were paying his wages to help him overcome homesickness.
Post Saints Career: Unsurprisingly, Joe's loan spell wasn't extended and he returned to Burnley at the start of 2012, who then let him go at the end of the season. He was then reunited with Owen Coyle, who took him to Burnley in the first place, when he was picked up by Bolton.
