Thomas has come through the youth system to force his way into the first team squad. After spending the end of 2011 on loan at Albion Rovers, he made his Saints debut as a late sub against Hearts in January 2012 and was then handed a long term contract. Scored his first senior goal when he bagged a last minute equaliser against Motherwell but then suffered an injury that ruled him out for the rest of the campaign. Now fit again, he looks a real talent with the ability to play up front or just in behind the strikers.
