Jason has represented Scotland at a number of youth levels and spent the first half of the current season on loan at Morton. It was a move designed to get him more first team experience but failed somewhat as he only featured in six games before returning to Paisley. He was then loaned to Cowdenbeath for some more experience. He made his Saints debut against Aberdeen in early 2012.
