Signed on a two year deal - with an option for a third - in the summer of 2013, Gary is expected to add some more goals and creativity from the middle of the park. The much travelled playmaker started off at Celtic before heading to Blackburn and, after a few loan spells, had a season at Grimsby before returning to Scotland by signing for Partick Thistle in 2007. His performances there saw him earn a move to Dundee and he was part of the side that helped them avoid relegation to the second division in 2011 - even though they'd been docked 25 points for going into administration! A move to the SPL with Kilmarnock beckoned and he seemed to do reasonably well there for 18 months or so before falling out with the management. That saw him return to Dundee at the start of 2013 but this time he couldn't help them pull off the great escape. Saints' playing style should suit him perfectly.
