Motherwell 1-1 Saints

I wasn't there so can't really comment on what happened, but it seems quite a few Saints fans are unhappy with manager Gus MacPherson after today. many claim it was a poor performance along with some bizarre substitutions and we're lucky to still be in the cup. Personally, a draw at Motherwell is a reasonable result and it gives us another chance to progress.

Dorman put Saints in front after 12 minutes, collecting Billy Mehmet's pass before avoiding keeper Graeme Smith and Steven Hammell and slotting home.

It remained that way until half time, after which Motherwell started dominating and equalised when Mark Howard could only parry Cillian Sheridan's header and Stephen Hughes scored the rebound.

The home side had a few chances to win it after that, although Scott Cuthbert nearly snatched a late winner only for Smith to save his header.

Roll on the replay.
