Kilmarnock 1-1 Saints

Not the worst result with the Rugby Park side pushing for a top six place, but we could do with getting a few wins from somewhere. We now have the same points tally we did at this stage last season - the problem is the teams roundabout us have more!

Danny Lennon fielded the same side for the third game running and after being up against things in the early stages we took the lead, Goncalves bagging the seventh goal of his loan spell.

There were chances to go further in front before half-time but we didn't take them and so the inevitable happened just after the break, Boyd scoring his first goal since he returned to Kilmarnock. There were suspicions of offside but the goal stood.

The home side had us under the cosh for a bit after that but we managed to ride the storm and ended up taking a point. Saturday sees us on our travels again as we go to Motherwell for our last pre-split match.
