Kilmarnock 1-0 Saints

Well, the scoreline suggests it was narrow but judging by the comments on Twitter and forums Killie were by far the better side until the last half hour or so. We made a couple of changes and they had James Fowler sent off late on but couldn't get an equaliser.

Despite having secured safety we went with the same side that had started our last four games. On this occasion it didn't work though and Kris Boyd scored the decisive goal midway through the first half.

I don't know a great deal else as I wasn't there, however Patick Thistle won to leave us in eighth on goal difference. The play-off spot is now between Killie and Hibs while we can still end up seventh.

Tomorrow is also set to be an important day with the board meeting to discuss a number of things, including the future of manager Danny Lennon. A pre-match radio interview with chairman Stewart Gilmour was hardly a ringing endorsement but only a fool would give a definitive prediction about what will happen.
