As I mentioned in the preview, it was 16 years since we had won at Rugby Park so this win was more than welcome. It keeps us in eighth, with all four teams below us on 17 points compared to our reasonable tally of 21 - more than we've had after 19 games in our previous two seasons.

The goal game ten minutes or so before the break, Franco Miranda and Dennis Wyness combining well to set up Andy Dorman to slot home. The midfielder has been improving with every game this week and a cynic could suggest the upcoming transfer window might have something to do with that!

I wasn't there so that's about it for a report. Both teams had a reasonable number of chances and Killie had a penalty appeal turned down when John Potter supposedly handled inside the box. Wonder what Jim Jeffries said now that managers have agreed not to criticise referees. But then, he wasn't invited to the little get together...
