Paul Gallacher, David Barron and Craig Dargo all returned but it was a mistake from Gallacher after just eight minutes that let Lee Cox put Caley Thistle in front. However, we came back into things after that and pulled level just before the break, Thomson scoring a fine effort after good work from Dargo.
Caley Thistle pushed for a winner in the second half and hit the bar, but with five minutes left Thomson diverted a Paul McGowan shot over the line to give us a crucial victory.
