Falkirk 2-0 Saints

Tom Hendrie selected the same lineup as last week, with Junior Mendes replacing Paul Rudden on the bench. Steven Tosh hit the bar early on and shortly after things turned even worse.

John Hughes played a long ball which Ricky Robb decided to let bounce instead of clear it. It found its way to Owen Coyle who made it 1-0. Shortly after Hughes was booked.

Just 6 minutes later it was 2-0, with Andy Lawrie making a run from the centre circle then shooting from 20 yards out, leaving Ludo Roy standing. Seems like more good defending by Saints.

After half an hour Robb was replaced by Chris Kerr, dunno why. At half time Mendes replaced Simon Lappin with Colin Samuel making his Falkirk debut, coming on. After the hour mark McSween came on for Miller for Falkirk. later on Saints captain Jamie McGowan was booked.

That's all the info I have, taken from www.skysports.com which had text commentary of each of the goals, and the report Dougie Vipond gave on Radio Scotland. With the other results this leaves Saints bottom, and it's not looking good. One league goal in 5 games is also not convincing, combined with just 1 off target shot in the first half. Why was Mark yardley not shoved on at some point to try and get a goal?

Alloa next week, a must win game already.
