Dundee 0-2 Saints

Admittedly numerous teams have games in hand but let's enjoy it while it lasts. The last time we fluked our way to the top was six years ago so it doesn't happen very often. We're in better shape than Rangers anyway...

Danny Lennon made three changes to the side that drew with Inverness Caley Thistle last week - Steven Thompson, John Robertson and Graham Carey all coming in with David Barron and Gary Teale being benched, Lewis Guy missing out due to suspension.

Going by reports we were the better team but it took us until six minutes from the break to open the scoring with Kenny McLean scoring an absolute screamer. There seems to be confusion as to how far out it was but it seems he was at least 30 yards out! Nice one Kenny. Dundee pushed for an equaliser, with Ryan Conroy hitting the post, but we took our advantage into the break.

After half-time Dundee had a penalty appeal turned down following Darren McGregor's challenge on Mark Stewart and to rub salt into the wounds we went straight up the park to score, Dougie Imrie teeing up Sam Parkin to calmly slot away his first goal for the club.

We were able to see things out after that, although former Buddie Stephen O'Donnell did have a goal ruled out for offside.

So that's two games played, we've got four points and goals, a clean sheet and an away win. Oh aye, we're also top of the league!
