There were a few changes to the team that faced Kilmarnock on Saturday, with Billy Mehmet replacing John Sutton, Alan Reid replacing Craig Molloy and Maxwell replacing Kevin McGowne.
Saints seemed to give a good account of themselves before Craig Beattie scored with fifteen minutes left and Maciej Zurawski with just a few minutes remaining.
Nothing to worry about and over 30,000 turned up which should mean a good bit of cash for Saints.
