Under-20s 3-2 Celtic

Last updated : 18 December 2012 By Stuart Gillespie

It was a relatively strong under-20 side that featured over-age players Graham Carey, David Barron and Chris Smith. However, that was balanced out by the fact many of the young players had gone through extra-time and penalties against Falkirk just a few days earlier - and the fact Celtic hadn't lost away from home in more than three years!

It looked as if that run would continue when Denny Johnstone headed them in front but Thomas Reilly equalised before the break and Kieran Doran put the young Buddies in front after an hour. Bahrudin Atajic looked to have salvaged a point for the visitors but late on Jack Smith scored what turned out to be the winner.

Well done lads!
