Adam Brown did most of the damage and scored twice in the first half. The first came from a long range free-kick which flew straight into the net in the first few minutes, the second coming from the penalty spot just before the break.
Accies rallied in the second half and pulled one back through Scott McMann's free-kick, but almost immediately we finished them off when Jack Baird headed in our third.
It was a rather young Saints side with Christopher Dilo and Danny Grainger the only first teamers. There was no sign of Gary Harkins, Jake Caprice or Stephane Bahoken (again), while Thomas Reilly and Jon Scullion were also absent.
