The Buddies kids were always favourites to win against players from a second division club, although the Binos are top of their own division.
However, Saints blew them away with Alan Cairns scoring twice with Thomas Reilly and Jason Naismith also scoring. Stirling's day was summed up by the fact they scored an own goal.
That has us in the last 16 of the competition and the good news is one of the Old Firm are out, with Dundee United taking a fine win over Rangers today.
