It was Jon Scullion who inspired the youngsters, the striker netting after just three minutes. However, the Warriors were level just before the break thanks to a Jordan Burns free-kick.
Thankfully we got our own back deep into the second half, Scullion scoring his and his side's second of the afternoon with a great free-kick of his own.
That put the Saints starlets into the semi-finals of the competition with Livingston, Celtic and Queen of the South likely to be the other three teams in the hat.
