Although disappointing to suffer such a defeat at the semi-finals - especially to a team that have had a man sent off - the young Buddies should be proud of their efforts this season. They even took the lead midway through the first half, Jack Smith scoring after good work from Thomas Reilly.
A double from Tony Watt had the SPL's youth league champions ahead by the break and John Herron extended the advantage with 17 minutes left, only for Watt to then be sent off for over celebrating. It mattered not as Filip Twardzik finished things off with a few minutes remaining.
