With a number of our youngsters out on loan or being released at the moment there are a few players involved who probably have another year or two at under-17 level, let alone under-19 level, so we shouldn't be too critical of what's happening.
The young Buddies followed in the footsteps of their more senior counterparts by trailing by two goals after just 10 minutes, Tony Watt and John herron scoring to put the Hoops in front. We rallied after the break and 15-year-old Keiran Doran got one back before Jon Scullion slipped when he had a chance to equalise.
The under-19s are playing again his week with a home game against St Johnstone scheduled for Friday.
