Saints' youngsters booked their place in fourth round of this season's SFA Youth Cup with a narrow win over Partick Thistle this evening. The under-19s could even afford to finish the match with 10 men.

The only goal came midway through the second half, Ryan Frances deflecting a shot from Bradley Coyne into the net. The Jags were unable to equalise, although did hit the bar, and not even the late dismissal of defender DOminic Kennedy could help them out.
