Saints' under-19s finished third in the four team Jim Baird Memorial Trophy, which was held in the last few days. The youngsters were competing against amateur teams made up of players of all ages.

Their first match saw them face Annbank United and after finishing 1-1 it went to penalties. Unfortunately, Annbank won the shoot-out to make it to the final.

Today, the kids faced hosts Lugar Boswell Thistle in a third/fourth play-off match and won 4-0 thanks to goals from Jamie McKernon and Graeme Ramage and a double from Thomas Reilly.
