No, this was not a kids game down the park with any man saves. It was a kids game in Dingwall and Saints did indeed start with a goalie in the shape of Gary Whyte. However, he got a bad injury in the first half and with normal keeper Michael McKinven injured, we had a problem.
Outfield player Craig Slater took over and the goals started flying in - at the other end. Mark Lamont and Hashim Cole scored to give us a two goal lead at the break before Bradley Coyne sealed things with a second half penalty.
A terrific result and the youngsters deserve full praise in the circumstances. Well done lads!
