The only goal arrived 10 minutes from time and came from an unlikely source. After Saints won a corner, Jason Naismith was on hand and the young defender forced home what turned out to be the winner.
I seem to remember United were one of the few teams who finished abouve the under-20s last season so this is a great result, especially away from home.
The under-20s are in action again on Sunday when they play Partick Thistle at Greenhill Road in the SFA Youth Club.
