The only goal came midway through the second half through Bahrudin Atadic. The new league allows over age players to be involved and Grant Adam was in goal for the Buddies, although worryingly had to go off with what looked a serious injury just before Celtic scored. He was the only senior player involved, although youngster Thomas Reilly was picked up front.
Next up is a home game against Ross County on Tuesday.
