Stenhousemuir v Saints Preview

Last updated : 16 July 2005 By Stuart Gillespie
Obviously results and performances aren't too important at this stage of the season, however a win would be a nice wee boost.

Today could be the final chance trialists Armand One and Chris Hay have to win themselves a deal. Both will play some part in the match if they are fit (Hay went off injured in the match against Queen's Park) and it will be interesting to see how they do. Saints are in desperate need of a new striker or two so a goal or a good performance might be enough to win a deal. One has been a bit dodgy in the two games so far and Hay has been half decent, so unless they do well they could be off after today.

Mixu Paatelainen will again miss out as he isn't quite fit, whilst Ryan McCay is out for the long term. Former Saint Greig Denham should line up in the Stenhousemuir defence if he's fit (which isn't likely).
