Stenhousemuir v Saints Preview

I can't be bothered writing much, which is handy as my knowledge of Stenny is limited. We haven't played them in a competitive match for 25 years, and looking at their squad list the only player I recognise (who hasn't left) is Martin Lauchlan, and that is because he used to be good in CM 97-98!

I do know a bit about their co-managaer. Des McKeown writes a regular column in The Sun and wrote a book with Bill Leckie. He can also occasional be heard on Radio Scotland or on Afternoon Sportscene. He did start out with Celtic and has played for Stenny and Queen of the South in the past. Thats about all I know.

Saints don't have too many injury problems. David van Zanten should be fit, as should Mixu (sod spelling his surname), who wasn't risked on Wednesday. The only major doubt is Mark Reilly, who has a cut above one of his eyes.

It's a bit odd that we are going to Ochilview after Saints boss Gus MacPherson criticised the pitch last season, so hopefully we'll get some more match fitness and avoid injuries.
