Airdrie United v Saints Preview

They've won their last three matches, and are the only team to have beaten third placed Clyde in the league this season, and they've done it twice! They're currently sixth, a good achievment for a team which won the second division last season.

I don't like Airdrie United. They are one of only four teams in Scottish football I despise and would love to see going bust. The other three are the Bighot Brothers and Livingston. Sure, I hate Morton and St. Johnstone, but I don't want to see them go bust. I hate the way Jim Ballantyne bought Airdrie's place in division two by putting Clydebank out of business. There had been two or three years to save Airdrieonians, where was he then?

I also hate Owen Coyle, because he scores far too many goals against us. He's in good form this season, and scored last week. We'll need to watch him tomorrow, and ex Saint Mark Roberts. If he repeats what he did at Love Street earlier in the season, scoring in the last minute, I will not be pleased. The best way to deal with these two players, if they start, is to boot them over the stand inside the first five minutes. Sorted.

Saints have no injury problems ahead of tomorrow. Everyone is fit. Hopefully Mixu Paatelainen will start his first game for a while. He has been superb when he has come off the bench in the last few weeks, and we could really do with his presence up front. He'll probably replace Allan Russell up front, if he starts. I'd also like to see John O'Neill back in the line up. He's our top scorer this season, and we could do with some more goals. If he replaces Mark Crilly and plays between the midfield and the strikers we could be in for some fun.

I hope Saints win this match, as Falkirk and Clyde are playing each other and, as I mentioned earlier, I hate Airdrie. Here's hoping good comes out on top.
