Love and McLennan both came through the club's youth system, although McLennan was released in the summer before being re-signed. The pair are highly rated and have each made one substitute appearance for the first team this season, but they have mainly been on the bench to make up the under-21 rule. They are too old for the under-19s and the lack of a reserve league prevents them from getting football.
Love, a leftback, and midfielder McLennan should gain some useful experience during their time at Ochilview and will probably come back as better players for it.
Meanwhile, their old mates in the under-19s are due to take on Partick Tistle at Greenhill Road on Monday night in the SFA Youth Cup.
