Woods For Brechin?

Last updated : 11 May 2004 By Stuart Gillespie
Woods only first team appearances this season came about because of injury to normal keeper Craig Hinchcliffe. He is out of contract in the summer but, along with John O'Neill, has agreed to a new deal and only has to sign it.

However, it now seems that Dick Campbell is looking to sign Woods to replace departing goalkeeper Kevin Thingymajig (Budisomething or other), who used to play for Partick Thistle before they made him redundant early in the season. Campbell thought he had signed Woods last summer, before he came to us, so it would be ironic if the reverse goes this season. The relegated side are also looking at Alan Main as a possible goalie.

Woods will probably stay at Love Street, but after what happened with him and Brechin last year you can never be too sure.
