Winters in, Hamilton out?

Last updated : 07 December 2008 By Stuart Gillespie
Winters has played in Norway for the past few seasons and has done reasonably well, even getting close to the Scotland squad over the last few years. He's now 34 so would be another experienced striker in the squad, but he might be a good addition.

At every transfer window since we were promoted to the SPL we have been linked with a move for Winters and it seems this time we face competition for Killie. Jim Jeffries recently said he has plans to sign a striker who is proven in the SPL and Winters certainly fits the bill there.

So too does Hamilton. The striker scored in our win over Falkirk yesterday but, according to radio reports, he is set to leave in January for an SPL club he hasn't played for. Kilmarnock fit that description. The others are the Old Firm, Hibs, Falkirk, Inverness Caley Thistle and Hamilton. Realistically, the first three are out so that leaves Killie, Falkirk, Caley Thistle and Hamilton.

Where will he go? Is it true? Where will Winters go? All will be revealed in January (maybe).
