Winners to face Celtic

Last updated : 11 March 2012 By Stuart Gillespie

It's the worst potential draw we could have had, with Aberdeen and Hibs making up the other final. Celtic have been flying in the league lately and absolutely destroyed Dundee United today - although they did have 10 men for the majority of the game.

If we do go through it at least means there won't be any pressure on us to win the semi, which should suit us fine, and it should generate some more cash. And the last time we played Celtic in the Scottish Cup it went rather well!

The replay is due to be played on Wednesday, March 21 - rather worryingly the second anniversary of our League Cup final disaster. Of the four Scottish Cup ties this weekend, our match was the only one to end in a draw and that, combined with yesterday's entertaining encounter, means there is a decent chance it'll end up on TV. If Sky or BBC do decide to show the match it will generate another £80,000 or so for both clubs.
