Who Will It Be?

The list is in alphabetical order of surname, but please bear in mind these are only rumoured names in the frame and not any of my personal suggestions (such as Rowan Alexander).

Roy Aitken: Currently part of the Leeds United backroom team. Former Saints player and former Aberdeen manager.
Dick Campbell: Winner of division 3 with Brechin last year, former Dunfermline boss.
Sandy Clark: Former St. Johnstone boss
John Connolly: Winner of division 2 with Queen of the South last year
Neil Cooper: Current Forfar boss and former Saints player
John Coughlin: Caretaker Saints boss, previously assistant manager
Dido (not the singer): Former Vietnam boss, wants to build a sandpit for the players
John McCormack: Winner of division 3 with Queen's Park in 1999/2000, effectively won division 1 in 1997/98 and former Saints player
Kenny McDowell: Winner of SPL u21 league with Celtic last year, former Saints player:
Campbell Money: Winner of division 2 with Stranraer in 1997/98, former Saints player
John Robertson: Coach at Livingston, Hearts Legend
Jocky Scott: Winner of division 1 with Dundee in 1997/98, Raith boss last year
Alex Totten: Falkirk's director of Football, former manager
David Winnie: New Dumbarton manager, did well in Iceland (supposedly), former Saints player

If I've missed anyone e-mail stu@stmirrenfc.net and I'll add them. Out of that lot I wouldn't take Totten or Campbell, and am not keen on Clark. Robertson might be good as he's got contacts. Dido wants to build a sand pit so the players can have matches in it after training as the sand is a more unpredictable surface than grass. Not sure if he'd do well but we should nick the sandpit idea :-)
