Vanzy Stays!

However, the former Celtic youngster has agreed to be a Saint for the next two years. What has caused him to change his mind is unknown, but all that matters is he'll be staying and we don't need to go hunting for a replacement.

Vanzy signed for Saints in the summer of 2003 after playing against us in a trial game, and has turned out to be a fine player. Last season he won the Saints player's player of the year award, as well as a few others. He also chipped in with a few goals.

This news means that the only members of last year's title winning squad who won't be with us next season are Mark Reilly, who has retired, and Charlie Adam, who has returned to Rangers.
