Trial For Mulryne

Last updated : 03 August 2007 By Stuart Gillespie
Mulryne made more than 150 appearances for Norwich after moving there from Old Trafford. However, the last few years of his career - since his move to Cardiff - have seen him play hardly any first team football. He spent nearly 18 months stuck in the reserves without a club before signing for Leyton Orient in January 2007. They released him in the summer.

Since then, he has had a trial spell with Bournemouth but turned down the deal they offered him. Now he's coming to Love Street, and will feature in a closed door game on Tuesday.

A fit Mulryne would be a decent addition to the Saints team, but he's a bit injury prone.
