Three In, Two Out?

According to David McKinney on Scotsport (must be true then)) Hamilton Accies Marc Corcoran has signed a pre contract agreement with the club and will make the move in the summer. This rumour has been doing the rounds for ages, so it's possible that Scotsport have just lifted the news off a website (surely not).

According to McKinney we have also signed two other players on pre contract agreements, although he wasn't at liberty to say who they were (McKinney speak for "I don't know"). Chances are one of them is Clyde's John Potter, who was linked with a move to Love Street at the end of last year and is another who is rumoured to have signed. There haven't ben too many suggestions as to the identity of the other player, although Clyde's Simon Mensing has been mentioned along with team mate Ian Harty. Personally I feel it will be someone who hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet.

The Sunday Mail claimed at the weekend that, along with Corcoran signing, two players have already been told to empty their lockers ahead of being released in the summer. The two are midfielders Mark Crilly and John O'Neill. Crilly is no surprise, he effectively handed himself a free transfer when he asked to be put on the transfer list in August! O'Neill is a bit more surprising considering he is our top scorer, but he has hardly featured in recent weeks.

It looks likely that these won't be the last arrivals and departures at Love Street ahead of the new season, with rumours suggesting that Ricky Gillies will also soon be on his way.
