Second division opponents in the Scottish

The two second division sides drew at Central Park on Saturday and will have to do it all over again in Alloa in the near future. The winner gets a trip to Paisley on Saturday, January 9.

Both sides are pushing for promotion from the second division this season, a remarkable achievement for Cowdenbeath considering they were only given a place in the division a fewdays before the season started due to Livingston's problems. This game will not be easy, especially when you consider our track record against lower league sides.

We last played Alloa in 2003, losing 4-0 on the final day of the season as the Wasps tried unsuccessfully to retain their first division status. The last time we played Cowdenbeath was way back in 1992/93 I think, and I seem to remember legendary keeper Campbell Money once scored a penalty against them!
